Next Wave Systems LLC (my day job) is looking for software engineers/computer scientists to join our team in Bloomington, as well as our facility in Pekin IN (NW of New Albany/Louisville KY). The text of our job announcement is:
"Next Wave Systems, LLC (www.nextwavesys.com) seeks to hire engineers and computer programmers in Bloomington, IN and Pekin, IN with experience in Linux-based design and software development. Windows experience desired. Languages: C or C++ or Java, shell scripting, interaction with UNIX system calls, network fundamentals, familiarity with SVN. Experience with Mapping applications and willingness to interact with hardware devices a plus.
Minimum requirements: U.S. citizen with BSEE, BSME or BS in Computer Science with 3 years experience developing software. Some travel, US Citizenship required.
