Hey Ben, I just wanted to saw that those are excellent drawings. If
you can, you should submit those to Inkscape's website as samples.

I do a fair amount of stuff with inkscape.. I could probably give a
presentation on it. Autotrace is built into inkscape and is pretty easy
to use, provided that your starting material isnt too messy. Scribus,
qcad, and gimp also have their uses.

I also need to mess around with vector formats for making printed circuit

I would probably need someone else to provide a computer for the
presentation, as my laptop is too slow for this stuff.

[BLUG] OCT Meeting Topic

I could stand to hear a few hours about vector images,
format(s) and editors if anyone here feels like
talking.
Specifically tracing raster images and manipulating
them. Also freehand drawing with vectors.

I had a NeXT mono slab that I used as a terminal to ssh from. Wow it
was a great machine, I still miss it. I even ran Distributed Net on
it...wow it was not fast.

It could be argued that I am *nix user today because of the Nations NeXT
lab in the stupid^H^H^H^H^H^Hstudent building. I missed soooo many
classes while IRCing from there. My silver and copper accounts didn't
hurt either.
