This web site, which I blog for, received more than 200,000 page
views for the month of August, 2013.

http://opensource.com/community/13/9/open-source-highlights-august

A community resource that is sponsored by Red Hat, this web site
is always looking to add new bloggers writing on any aspect of
open source -- not just open source software. Open source culture
is fair game, too -- (including open source hardware.)

Thanks for spreading the word about this web site, too. We'll
know that open source is becoming more prominent in the public
mind when this web site receives more than 500,000 page views per
month.

[BLUG] free: dec vt100

Hi all,

I'm moving out of Bloomington and have gotten tired of lugging around my
trusty DEC VT100 serial terminal. I'd love it if somebody wanted to give
it a good home.

If you don't know what that is, then:

1. Get off my lawn.

2. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vt100

It's in good working order, and I have the original manual (which you
need to set the line discipline and other options, as you have to key
them in manually via binary toggles!). I'm happy to throw in some serial
cabling and null modems, too.

I used it for years as an emergency console for my headless Linux boxen.
It is also an exceptional conversation piece for your living room (for a
certain crowd, anyway).

Send me an email if you're interested and we can arrange transfer (I can
drop it off within Bloomington limits).
