I double-checked the init sequence and noticed that video0 was the
MPEG encoder. It also said video32 was the YUV encoder. This seems a
little odd to me, but if this is true then video0 may *only* support
MPEG streaming. (I'm used to the two encodings being supported
on the same device, however I know the devices have considerable
flexibility.)
I would think that xawtv would support MPEG drivers, but if it
doesn't... A Myth-based product would definitely have MPEG streaming
support, so that may work with video0.
However, you may try xawtv with the /dev/video32 device, just to check.
If that is really the device for the YUV device, then this may work
with xawtv.
