Re: [BLUG] Changes to gaming schedule

When my fiancée first saw me playing it, she was sort of annoyed
because I'd get sucked into it and forget everything else that was
going on. Then she was like "I'm bored, show me how to play that
thing", and she was rather frustrated through the character creation
process because I sort of intuitively understood everything that was
going on (because I used to be a D&D geek, right up to the point where
AD&D3E came out so I got familiar with those rules even though I never
played them IRL) and she didn't. I explained a little bit about how
things worked, and then *boom*...I lost her and my computer, both.

I suddenly understood what it looked like, from the outside, to be so
absorbed in a video game that you forget to eat and sleep.

It would have been more amusing if we'd had two computers, though.

I'll have to find a Target nearby and see...

Oh, and you guys might appreciate this: I found a copy of Darwinia at
Big Lots for $3!
