[BLUG] Indiana Linux Fest Volunteers, Registration, and Contests

BLUG members,

Its fast approaching and I'm calling out to you in the hopes that at
least 5 of you and hopefully 10 will be able to volunteer at Indiana
Linux Fest on March 25th, 26th or 27th. Please read details below. If
you're concerned about driving to Indy, then we can find ways to car
pool and maybe some people will be willing to share rooms. The event is
really coming together well and I'm sure will be a great time for those
that attend.

If you'd like to volunteer, please email us at volunteer@indianalinux.org
and let us know.

Thanks.

We have started to get some great media coverage of Indiana LinuxFest.
We have started http://www.indianalinux.org/cms/mediacoverage2011 [1]
page to organize it all in one place. If you know of someplace we
have been covered please send us a link to the coverage so we can add
it.

We are still looking for volunteers. We need volunteers to help us run
registration, rooms, and be the stars of are volunteer a/v staff. If
you would love to pitch in and help us bring this event together
please head to http://www.indianalinux.org/cms/connect [2] and send
us an email letting us know you want to volunteer. We will do a
volunteer meeting in the upcoming weeks to iron out details.

If you haven't registered for the free pass yet please visit
http://www.indianalinux.org/cms/node/26 [3] to sign up today. If you
have signed up for the free pass consider upgrading to the supporter
pass at http://www.indianalinux.org/cms/node/27 [4]. You will help us
to guarantee the show is a success and we will in return give you a t
shirt, swag bag filled with as many goodies as we can get are hands
on, a boxed lunch for Saturday, and are undying gratitude for helping
us to make this show a success and to do it again in 2012. Also
upgrading to the supporter pass gives you a chance to win one of our
registration prizes
http://www.indianalinux.org/cms/PrizesForParticipation [5].

Finally if you have registered for the show would you mind spreading
the word to your friends? The more people we have the more
interactive it can be.

Thank you all for your support and helping us bring this show to you.
