Re: [BLUG] Tux500 car crashes

Yeah, anyone watching on tv probably knows more than me.  Under rain delay right now, but expect that race will start again in a bit.

[BLUG] Tux500 car crashes

Roberto Moreno made contact with the wall and crashed. Appearently he
is uninjured, but they took him to the hospital because he was
complaining of back pain. Hopefully he's alright.

Re: [BLUG] Tux car?

Yeah, unfortunately I just watched him crash not far from me.  Thanks Mark.

It did.  It qualified mid last week at a speed of 220mph.  Roberto
Moreno is driving because Stephan Gregoire had an accident and injured
himself.  The tux500.com project raised over $18000 before they had to
close donations.

It was weird, I found out last week that I actually know the son of
the guy who owns Chaistain Motorsports.  I went to Carb day on Friday
and got to see the car up close and have a picture taken with Roberto
Moreno.  Nice group of people.

 ;-)

According to the website, they are going to put more Linux logos on the
car.  Its car number 77. Of course, the race is blacked out in the local
area so you'll have to wait until 8pm to see it.

[BLUG] Tux car?

Anyone know if the car with the Tux logo made it into the 500 and, if so, which car it is?

Thanks,

[BLUG] Gaming survey for everyone to take

Even if you are not interested in playing games or participating in the
weekly gaming sessions, I'd appretiate if you could take this quick
survey so that I can know generally how much interest there is:

http://www.bloomingtonlinux.org/surveys/blug_gaming_sessions.php

Please answer questions honestly. Remember, I'm putting this survey
out so that I can find out what to do for the weekly sessions, so answer
according to what would most likely allow you to participate. Not all
questions are required so you can take the survey even if you can't
answer most of the questions.

Thank you.
