At first glance it may not look like a big deal, but in reality there's a
bunch of developers who've been affected enough by the discussed issues to
leave the project. Some of those folks were key players in the project. If
ever you get board, take a look at how many people are actually working on
the project. There's a small handful of people doing the majority of
commits. The people talked about in that post are all developers of that
level of impact to the project. Seemant goes on to list others who's left
as well, you can follow his Gentoo site tag. There's been a few others as well.
