It is true. I'll need to dig up some URLs to show the drama involved. Will
follow-up with that.
The future for Gentoo may or may not go well. I do know that there's enough
people and groups using it for critical production purposes that some kind
of portage based system will survive though. It may not be called Gentoo,
but there's too many people invested at this point to let it go over
something as silly as peoples feelings.
