Re: [BLUG] BZFlag in 30 minutes

Well, the game went well. I made the mistake of non-commenting out
the -public option in the config from using it earlier in the week. So
we ended up immediately having about 20 different people in the game who
had just found the server on the public list of servers. I think only 3
or 4 of them were blug folks. I know Scott Blaydes, Chris Walker and I
were in there. If anyone else was in there, let me know.

I ended up turning off the public option and we played different maps
for a couple hours. BZFlag is actually pretty robust and has a lot of
options. I think its biggest fault is that it doesn't advance to the
next map automatically and everyone has to quit and rejoin the game.

Next week we'll play Unreal Tournament 2004 again and then the week
after that is World of Padman (http://www.worldofpadman.com/), which is
actually a free/open source multiplayer paintball game based on the
quake 3 engine.

Also, you'll see that Neverwinter Nights is coming up. I'm going to
find a module that we can play without requiring any of the expansion
packs. Could anyone who has NWN let me know so that I know how many
people to plan for?

Thanks,
Mark
