I'm pretty sure that's where Bill Reynolds aka Texstar of PCLinuxOS come
down on the subject. When he decided to strike out on his own with
PCLinuxOS, it remained an rpm system based on Mandriva, but he went with
apt-for-rpm/Synaptic as the default GUI package manager.
